Construction Inspector
Key Responsibilities
- Inspects and reviews projects during construction, monitoring conformance with plans, specifications, and other codes and regulations
- Maintains oversight of construction activities, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality standards are met
- Generates daily inspector reports documenting construction activities, utilizing eConstruction processes, and notifying supervisors of any non-conforming work
- Inspects and documents contractor’s construction activities including: maintenance of traffic, excavation, drainage systems, erosion/sediment control, Hot Mix Asphalt and Concrete pavement, miscellaneous structures, and calculates quantities and costs
- Examines construction materials, checking to ensure they meet specifications
- Reviews plans, specifications, submittals, construction schedules, shop drawings, and pay applications
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned

About the Role
As a team member on average-sized projects, you will be responsible for inspecting and reviewing projects during construction, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and other codes and regulations. You will also monitor the progress of construction activities, ensuring that cost, schedule, and quality standards are met. Additionally, you will generate daily inspector reports, document construction activities, and examine construction materials to ensure they meet specifications.
Requirements
- High School / Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field
- Or equivalent combination of education and construction experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience

Pay Range:
- Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 66,800.00 - Max Salary $ 93,500.00
- Locations in WA, DC & Various CA, MA, VA Areas - $71,600.00 - $100,300.00 Annually
