About the Role
This role involves providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention for adult and/or child members with diverse psychiatric needs. The clinician collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate personalized treatment plans, administers outpatient psychotherapy, and conducts psychological assessments including testing and interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical treatment programs.
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy and conduct psychological assessments.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for medication screening and evaluation.
- Utilize community and external resources for patient care.
- Supervise interns and trainees as appropriate.
- Support families through education and intervention strategies.
- Educate patients and families on treatment adherence.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
- Participate in safety reporting and program development.
- Provide consultation to other healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Clinical, Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Psychologist license (California or any state) required at hire, with National Provider Identifier.
- Familiarity with DSM-V, evidence-based practices, and psychological testing techniques.
- Experience in diagnosing, assessing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
