About the role
This position plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities. You will be responsible for providing services that enhance their quality of life.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized service plans based on client needs.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings including home, school, and community.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all services provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience working with Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
Qualifications
- Experience with evidence-based interventions for Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
