About the role
This position plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities. You will be responsible for providing services that enhance their quality of life.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized service plans based on client needs.
- Provide direct support services including daily living activities, social skills training, and behavioral interventions.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust service plans accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience working with individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Experience with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
