About the role
This position plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities. You will be responsible for providing services that enhance their quality of life.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized service plans based on client needs.
- Provide direct support services including daily living activities, social skills training, and behavioral interventions.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place.
- Document all interactions and progress in client files and reports.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities.
- Experience with behavior analysis and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
