Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This role is for a psychiatrist providing inpatient psychiatric care within an adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The clinician will work in a structured behavioral health setting, ensuring continuity of psychiatric services during the coverage period.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medications for adult patients.
• Oversee and treat adult psychiatric conditions in an inpatient setting.
• Manage variable caseloads, perform initial evaluations, and provide follow-up care.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with standard hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a late shift on Thursdays.

Requirements

• Prescriptive authority.
• Relevant clinical experience in a psychiatric setting.
• Ability to work on-site.
• Flexibility in managing variable caseloads and treatment durations.

Board certification and call requirements are negotiable.
