Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

Seeking a Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients in a structured clinical setting. The role involves performing psychiatric assessments, prescribing and managing medications, and leading treatment planning within interdisciplinary teams. The psychiatrist will handle a caseload of 2-15 patients per day and support patient recovery through education and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services during day shifts
• Lead treatment planning and coordinate with clinical teams
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery

Requirements

• Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Prescriptive Authority
• Experience with adult inpatient psychiatric conditions
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Schedule

• Full-time, day shifts
• No call or weekend requirements
• On-site work environment
