Duties Description
New York City Children’s Center (NYCCC) an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting a Board-Certified Children & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join NYCCC’s Queens campus located at 74-03 Commonwealth Blvd., Queens NY.

Minimum Qualifications
- Psychiatrist 1 Children & youth: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). and certification in child and adolescent psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
- Psychiatrist 2 Children & Youth: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN, and certification in child and adolescent psychiatry approved by the ABPN.

- This position is eligible for a downstate adjustment of $4,000.
- Note:

If you are appointed and subsequently listed as an excluded individual or entity on any of these lists (or excluded from any other Federal or federally assisted program), you may be terminated from your employment.
- If appointed you may be required to become an enrolled Medicare provider; obtain and provide to your employer a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number issued by the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES); and otherwise actively participate to the degree necessary to allow for your services to be billed through Medicare and Medicaid. If you are appointed and you lose the ability to bill through Medicare and Medicaid, you may be terminated from your employment.
- Continued employment as a Psychiatrist 1 (C&Y) or Psychiatrist 2 (C&Y) is dependent upon current licensure to practice medicine and current certification in child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Loss of licensure and certification may result in removal from this position.
