Duties Description
New York City Children’s Center (NYCCC) an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join NYCCC’s Queens campus located at 74-03 Commonwealth Blvd., Queens NY.

Minimum Qualifications
- Psychiatrist 1: New York State license and current registration to practice medicine, and completion of a psychiatry training program approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
- Psychiatrist 2: New York State license and current registration to practice medicine, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
- OR
- Candidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
