Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Physician Assistant (PA)

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions across the lifespan
• Manage medication and provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up
• Create individualized treatment plans
• Treat patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, and other conditions
• Collaborate with therapists and multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Deliver high-quality care through in-person and telehealth visits

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut APRN or Physician Assistant license
• PMHNP certification for FNP and PAs with psychiatric experience
• DEA registration
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Experience

• Experience in psychiatry
• Work with children, adolescents, and adults
• Knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric treatment approaches
