Seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for inpatient behavioral health coverage in a facility with three units serving adults and adolescents.
About the role
- Provide day and night shifts with call responsibilities, including admissions and consultations
- Average 2 cases daily
- Work alongside an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and psychiatrist
- Support a total of 36 beds (28 adult, 8 adolescent)
- Patient age range: 8–17 years
- Full-time hours, 20–22 shifts per month
- No prescriptive authority required
- Focus on inpatient psychiatric care, managing diverse behavioral health conditions with variable length of stay
- Comprehensive support services and seamless credentialing processes
Responsibilities
- Inpatient coverage for behavioral health units
- Consultations and on-call support
Requirements
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
