Patient Care

  • Complete all assigned patient visit preparation and clarifications accurately and timely according to the prep schedule
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all appointment types scheduled
  • Demonstrate accurate preparation of charts
  • Maintain a physical presence in the clinic during clinic hours
  • Be available to serve as backup in emergency situations
  • Manage and stabilize grade 1, 2, 3 reactions
  • Answer, triage and escalate questions, concerns, and reactions
  • Provide TIP based education
  • Ensure up-to-date TIP information and protocols

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage rotating call requirements (POC: Monday-Friday 7 am- 5pm, Call Assist/Support: 8 am-5pm)
  • Manage and stabilize grade 1, 2, 3 reactions
  • Collaborate with Escalation leads/Logistics MD to ensure necessary follow up
  • Complete escalation case write-ups and present during daily Escalation Rounds
  • Complete follow-ups/resolution to patient cases presented
  • Answer, triage and escalate questions, concerns, and reactions

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant School
  • Current New Jersey NP and RN or PA License
  • 1-2 years previous experience administering and monitoring allergens and oral immunotherapy
  • National Provider Identification Number (NPI)
  • PA or NP Certifications, preferred
  • BLS, PALS and ACLS Certification
  • Familiarity with medications and dosages, knowledge on how to draw medications/reconstitution, and IV placement required
  • Proficiency with office software applications, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and previous EMR experience
  • Team mentality and positive working attitude
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires strong multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in travel to affiliate clinics as additional support

The employee is required to walk between multiple office locations that include the use of stairs (elevator is only available in some instances). This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
