Allergy Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Allergy Advanced Practice Provider with clinical experience to join our outpatient team in Rochester, NY. This full-time position involves varied weekday shifts and one weekend day per month.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with allergic and immunologic conditions.
• C Conduct and interpret allergy testing.
• A Administer and monitor allergen immunotherapy and oral immunotherapy.
• D Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients.
• M Manage acute allergic reactions in the outpatient setting.
• C Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical team members.
• M Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.

Requirements

• B Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
• M Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• S Minimum of 1-2 years of allergy, immunology, or primary care experience.
• T Strong clinical assessment, procedural, and communication skills.
• C Compassionate and detail-oriented with a focus on patient-centered care.
• F Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
