Proposal Manager - Melbourne FL

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure DRS proposals are professional, high quality, and reflect the high standards and objectives of the corporation.
• Manage the proposal process from pre-RFP preparation to final publication and submission.
• Track all proposal efforts and coordinate support from functional organizations.
• Manage proposal teams and their respective tasks, including technical writing, research, editing, and other proposal-related activities.
• Work closely with Capture, Program, Technical Leads, and Contracts personnel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Defense industry experience required.
• Subject matter expertise and knowledge in project and proposal management.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with Project Management Institute, Six Sigma, and Capability Maturity Model.
• U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance if necessary.
