What You’ll Do
- Clarify Texas state statutes, administrative processes, and compliance obligations related to property tax protests.
- Advise on local requirements and nuances for major Texas counties, such as Travis, Harris, Tarrant, and Bexar.
- Guide our team on how and when to file petitions, including the specifics of online versus paper submissions.
- Share best practices for preparing and presenting property tax protest hearings.
Who You Are
- Bring significant, hands-on experience from within the Texas property tax ecosystem—either via your own practice, with an established firm, or through a role in local government.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of county-specific procedures, deadlines, and rules unique to Texas.
- Are a creative thinker, able to innovate within the regulatory framework and identify new solutions while ensuring compliance.
- Are available for consultation on an as-needed, hourly basis by phone or Zoom.
