What You’ll Do

  • Clarify state statutes, administrative processes, and compliance obligations for property tax protests.
  • Advise on unique procedures and nuances for major California counties.
  • Guide on when and how to file petitions (TRIM notices, deadlines, evidence requirements), including online versus paper submission protocols.
  • Share best practices and insights on hearing preparation and protest strategy.

Who You Are

  • Have direct experience in the California property tax system—through your own practice, as part of a firm, or within a local government agency.
  • Be deeply familiar with county-specific procedures, deadlines, and rules, especially for California’s five largest counties.
  • Possess an innovative mindset—ready to find creative solutions while strictly adhering to all relevant guidelines.
  • Be available to consult on an as-needed, hourly basis via phone or Zoom.
