Property Maintenance Supervisor - Green River College

About the role

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM), headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, specializes in the management of housing communities owned by non-profits and universities. The Property Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Director of Student Housing and manages the upkeep and repair of campus facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage, schedule, and complete work orders
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks
• Cover and inspect apartment units’ exteriors, interiors, and common areas
• Maintain inventory and organization of workspaces and materials
• Conduct daily and periodic inspections
• Evaluate contracted vendor services and inspect upon completion
• Oversee renovations and repairs, and monitor HVAC systems
• Perform make-ready process and manage inventory
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and coordinate on-call responses
• Manage budget responsibilities and enforce policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of property maintenance experience
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• Supervisory experience
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
• Basic technical knowledge of maintenance work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in mid-to-high paced environments
• Live within 40 minutes of the site
