Pay

Hourly Rate: $21.00

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the property/inventory control functions.
• Ensure that center equipment and supplies are ordered, received, and distributed.
• Post and maintain shipping, receiving, inventory records and documents in accordance with center and DOL regulations.
• Arrange for disposition of excess materials in accordance with procedures as stated in the Property Handbook.
• Monitor the procurement of supplies, materials and equipment for General Services Administration, self-service store, and other vendors.
• Monitor maintenance of accurate records on the physical location of all center property.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in property/inventory control preferred.
• Valid State driver’s license in the state of employment with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
• Sound working knowledge of property/inventory control procedures.
• Knowledge of Government property management requirements and procedures desired.

About Our Program

Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.
