Job Summary
The Property Accountant is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, tracking and analyzing property-level financial performance, ensuring the integrity of financial information, and supporting operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
- Track and analyze property-level financial performance
- Ensure the integrity of financial information through comprehensive analysis, account reconciliations, and strict adherence to GAAP
- Play a key role in supporting operational decision-making and ensuring compliance across the portfolio
Requirements
- High level of proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; property management software experience (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, MRI) strongly preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling
- Previous experience in a Property Accountant role
