Property Accountant

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong property accounting experience who also holds an active Real Estate License. If you have property accounting experience and an active Real Estate License, we would love to hear from you!

Pay

$65,000 - $70,000

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for a portfolio of properties
• Perform full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and variance analysis
• Complete month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and property-related accounts
• Review and maintain property budgets and financial records
• Track income, expenses, CAM charges, and other property-related transactions
• Work closely with property management and internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Real Estate License
• Previous property accounting or real estate accounting experience
