Projects & Services - Warehouse Team Lead

About the Role

In this role, you will lead the local operations of a satellite warehouse, overseeing day-to-day shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy for materials and equipment. You will support local construction projects and direct customer shipments while also managing office and warehouse facilities maintenance, including vendor coordination and preventative maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
• Use an advanced ERP system, such as SAP, to manage warehousing operations, including receiving, handling, and shipment of goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and organized material locations.
• Lead local inventory planning for materials and construction equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and forecasting future needs.
• Schedule and coordinate with local logistics companies.
• Manage construction tools and equipment, including check-in/check-out and evaluating tool condition.
• Oversee multiple vendors/contractors for office and warehouse facilities maintenance.
• Lead a facilities maintenance program to ensure a safe and positive environment for customers and employees.
• Prioritize and manage daily workloads with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, sales, and field construction teams to drive customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of relevant warehouse operations experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP system.
• Microsoft Excel skills.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily.
• Ability to travel to local vendors or project sites and drive a company vehicle as needed (valid driver’s license and company insurance requirements apply).
