Project Scheduler I, II or III

PURPOSE

Provide project scheduling, planning, and coordination support for electrical transmission and substation capital projects. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules across the full project lifecycle. The Scheduler II works with internal project teams and external partners to ensure schedules are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project milestones and execution plans.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for transmission and substation projects in accordance with company procedures and industry best practices.
• Build and update baseline schedules incorporating engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Cook up and update schedule updates from consultants and contractors for completeness, accuracy, and logic.
• Perform critical path and float analysis to identify potential risks or delays.
• Identify and communicate schedule conflicts, gaps, and risks to project teams.
• Support outage coordination and construction sequencing activities.
• Prepare and distribute schedule reports, milestone updates, and progress tracking metrics.
• Aid in developing schedule recovery plans and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain schedule documentation and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of scheduling tools, templates, and processes.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Level I

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in project scheduling, project controls, construction, or engineering support preferred.

• Level II

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project scheduling or project controls experience, preferably in utility, construction, or infrastructure projects.

• Level III

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project scheduling experience supporting complex infrastructure or utility projects.

COMPENSATION

Hiring Salary Range: Level I: $29.38 - $44.09 Level II: $77,400 - $116,100 Level III: $89,000 - $133,500 Compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. The actual offer may vary, reflecting the candidate's unique blend of experience, educational background, and skill level.
