About the role
As a Project Scheduler at The Garrett Companies, LLC in Indianapolis, IN, you will be responsible for managing project timelines and coordinating resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders including clients, team members, and upper management.
- Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project scheduling and coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
- Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
