Project Rebound Outreach Coordinator (Temporary, Limited Term)
About the role
The Student Services Professional II under the supervision of the Executive Director of Project Rebound and the Director of Project Rebound, performs moderately complex professional student service work. This role involves applying knowledge and judgment in managing student service programs, interviewing and counseling techniques, recommending solutions to problems, and acting as a spokesperson.
Responsibilities
- Assist students in making successful progress toward their degree objectives.
- Provide learning experiences that supplement classroom instruction.
- Aid and encourage students to utilize effectively the knowledge, skills, and abilities learned during their university careers.
Requirements
This role requires a bachelor's degree in a job-related field or two years of professional experience in a related field. Demonstrated ability to make decisions and carry out actions with implications for other program or service areas is essential.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and abilities in the practices, procedures, and activities of the program to which assigned.
- General knowledge of research and interview techniques.
- Ability to interpret and apply program rules and regulations.
- Interpersonal skills with individuals and groups, flexibility, versatility, tact, sensitivity, and effective analytical skills.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in standard office software, and familiarity with school-based record/data systems/software are required.

Pay
The anticipated hiring range is $5,083 per month, with the anticipated hire at the minimum of the classification salary range ($5,083 per month).
Schedule
The position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with work hours dependent on department needs.
