Congregation Outreach Coordinator (Temporary)

Events & Programs

• Implement and maintain on-site and off-site events and programs that meet the needs of the community, Outreach Ministries, and Mariners Church.
• (Food Pantry, ESL, etc)

Leadership Development

• Identify, train, and empower volunteers and ministry leaders to run programs and events.
• Direct supervision and care of volunteers serving at their corresponding location.

Administration

• Fulfill administrative responsibilities like logging program attendance, reviewing metrics, financial updates, etc.
• Oversee operations of the building in regards to Outreach programming and events including facility use and program schedule.

Qualifications

• Bilingual preferred
• 1-2 years experience working with at-risk populations
• Demonstrated ability to develop volunteers
• Ability to self-manage flexible schedule with some evening and weekend hours
• Skilled at developing cross-functional collaborations and partnerships both internally and externally
• Ability to drive progress while discerning God’s plans and adapting

Work Schedule

• Saturdays
• Some Sundays
• Some weekday evenings
• Office from Mariners Irvine 2 days a week
