About the role

You will play a critical role in supporting the planning, execution, and closure of projects in alignment with the strategic plans of Telix Pharmaceuticals, a dynamic, fast-growing radiopharmaceutical company. This role involves managing medium to high-priority programs, cultivating complex business relationships, and contributing to the international roll-out of our approved prostate cancer imaging agent and late clinical-stage products addressing significant unmet needs in oncology and rare diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the product development plan, including activity planning, budget management, schedule adherence, resourcing, and milestone tracking to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
  • Actively maintain internal project management tools (e.g., SmartSheet), ensuring accuracy in scheduling, risk assessment, RAID logs, and data. Regularly update and track progress using standardized dashboard reporting.
  • Act as the key internal contact for projects, fostering strong cross-functional relationships. Facilitate regular project updates, document decisions and follow-ups, and provide leadership to resolve issues and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to integrated project teams across the matrixed organization, collaborating with departments such as clinical operations, regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to achieve project goals.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks. Track mitigation actions, owners, and due dates, and ensure proper submission to the change management process to maintain project integrity.
  • Develop, maintain, and report all project schedule information, ensuring transparency and adherence across all levels of the organization. Identify schedule risks or slippage and support corrective actions when necessary.
  • Support budget tracking, accruals, purchase orders, SOWs, invoice follow-ups, vendor deliverables, and external partner commitments.
  • Manage cross-functional reporting relationships to ensure traceability of project data and alignment with other systems in the organization. Ensure consistency and accessibility of data for key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to ensure KPIs are met. Lead and manage complex programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while navigating multi-faceted challenges.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualifications (Bachelor’s or above) in science or life sciences.
  • Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience, including products in preclinical and clinical development (Phase 1-3).
  • Entry-level project management experience with multiple small projects or one complex project.
  • Expertise in at least one pharmaceutical drug development function (clinical ops, manufacturing development, regulatory, or non-clinical development).
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience maintaining project management software solutions and project management tools.
  • Minimum 2+ years of project and financial management experience.
  • SmartSheet experience preferred.
