Responsibilities

  • Manage capital program engineering design and construction projects or programs in assigned areas from conceptual design through completion
  • Perform construction project management duties
  • Prepares cost estimates
  • Prepares and monitors project schedules and budgets
  • Counsels and coordinates with technical personnel
  • Conducts field inspections as required
  • Maintains and updates project files
  • Monitors work in progress
  • Implements, monitors, and supports company policy
  • Works with multidiscipline teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 10 years related experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Master's degree preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience working with transit agencies in California
  • Knowledge of Traction power systems for various Transit agencies
  • Strong management skills
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication (both written and verbal) skills

Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • Ability to interact with various design teams
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication (both written and verbal) skills

Skills

  • MS Office and MS Project experience
  • MS Access experience (plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $162,225 - $231,750 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
