Project Manager - Passenger Rail & Transit Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our team in the transit market sector in Northern California. This position will provide project management and technical services to transit clients such as BART, CCJPA, and Caltrain.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital program engineering design and construction projects or programs from conceptual design through completion
• Prepare cost estimates and project schedules and budgets
• Conduct field inspections as required
• Maintain and evaluate work in progress
• Implement, monitor, and support company policy
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical personnel
• Handle multiple assignments and interact with various design teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10 years related experience
• Minimum 5 years project management experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• MS Office and MS Project experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• PMP certification
• Understanding of Traction power systems for various Transit agencies
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills (both written and verbal)

The ideal candidate should demonstrate knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local standards and requirements, and an understanding of project delivery processes for various phases of project development.

Pay

$162,225 - $231,750 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
