Project Manager – Operations & Capital Improvements

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and conduct risk assessments.
• Establish resource and task schedules, prepare and monitor project budgets, and maintain project documentation, reports, communication plans, and change management activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, agency staff, and other stakeholders to facilitate project activities, monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, applicable regulations, and agency standards.
• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to the Chief of Operations and collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to agency operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information systems management, public health, or related scientific or technical discipline and five years of experience in project management.
• Or a combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a closely related field.
• Experience coordinating capital improvement, facility, construction, or infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
• Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
• Experience monitoring project budgets, tracking expenditures, and preparing project status reports and presentations.
