Project Manager – Operations & Capital Improvements

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and conduct risk assessments
  • Establish resource and task schedules
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, communication plans, and change management activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, agency staff, and other stakeholders to facilitate project activities
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, applicable regulations, and agency standards
  • Provide regular project updates and recommendations to the Chief of Operations
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to support the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to agency operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information systems management, public health, or related scientific or technical discipline and five years of experience in project management
  • Or a combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a closely related field preferred
  • Experience coordinating capital improvement, facility, construction, or infrastructure projects from planning through completion
  • Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents
  • Experience monitoring project budgets, tracking expenditures, and preparing project status reports and presentations

$85,000.00 starting salary

Primary Working Hours are M-F; 8-5
