Responsibilities
- Develop project plans and conduct risk assessments
- Establish resource and task schedules
- Prepare and monitor project budgets
- Maintain project documentation, reports, communication plans, and change management activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, agency staff, and other stakeholders to facilitate project activities
- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, applicable regulations, and agency standards
- Provide regular project updates and recommendations to the Chief of Operations
- Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to support the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to agency operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information systems management, public health, or related scientific or technical discipline and five years of experience in project management
- Or a combination of education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a closely related field preferred
- Experience coordinating capital improvement, facility, construction, or infrastructure projects from planning through completion
- Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents
- Experience monitoring project budgets, tracking expenditures, and preparing project status reports and presentations
