Project Manager - Merger Integrations

Overview

The Operations team at Gallagher Benefit Services is expanding and seeks a Project Manager - Merger Integrations. This role evaluates M&A pipelines and manages end-to-end integrations, providing strategic and hands-on leadership across complex, cross-functional integration efforts.

Success in this role

• Builds strong relationships with divisional and functional leaders across GBS, including IT, HR, Finance, and other key areas
• Facilitates cross-functional and executive-level meetings, ensuring alignment and clear outcomes
• Synthesizes complex information into concise, executive-ready status updates and recommendations
• Supports leadership and workstream leads with analytics and data-driven insights to enable informed decision-making
• Develops and executes comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and governance structures
• Maintains and governs RAIDD (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, Decisions) logs and key project documentation
• Maintains performance against cost, quality, timeliness, and stakeholder expectations
• Proactively identifies risks and execution challenges across M&A integrations
• Drives effective mitigation strategies in collaboration with senior stakeholders
• Collaborates with other integration workstreams to deliver a seamless experience for new merger partners and GBS leadership across branch, regional, and divisional levels

About You

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years business operations and/or project management experience required
• Strong business acumen
• Adept with technology including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Preferred: Experience from a strategy consulting environment driving client impact with strong problem-solving, communications, and project management skills
• Proficiency with analytics, visualization, and dashboarding tools
• Self-motivated problem solver comfortable functioning in an ambiguous and complex environment
