Project Manager II, Transmission (Hybrid)
About the role
Eversource is seeking a Project Manager II, Transmission in Springfield, MA. The role involves managing large, complex transmission projects in Massachusetts, coordinating with various stakeholders, and representing Eversource in regulatory proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of transmission projects including regulatory approvals and stakeholder interactions
- Develop and evaluate bid documents for engineering, design, and construction
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Represent Eversource at municipal meetings and provide project overviews
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced personnel
- Manage performance of team members and develop their skills
- Communicate with senior management, local and state governmental agencies, and external organizations
- Prepare written responses for regulatory proceedings
- Assess team member's abilities and adapt leadership styles to optimize performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum five (5) years of Project Management or related experience
- Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License

- Ability to analyze project information, determine facts, and make well-thought-out recommendations/decisions
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to listen, write clearly, present to senior management, and work effectively with all levels within Eversource and external organizations

- Experience working with complex transmission projects and managing multiple projects concurrently

Benefits
Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. Salary is commensurate with experience and is within the range of $122,700.00 - $136,330.00 annually. The position is eligible for a potential incentive.

The annual salary range for this position is: $122,700.00-$136,330.00
Schedule
Employees are required to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change based on managerial discretion and work performance.
