Project Manager II, Transmission (Hybrid Schedule)

About the Role
You will manage large, complex transmission projects in New Hampshire in a multi-external stakeholder environment to ensure all phases of approved projects are completed efficiently and within scope, on schedule, and within budget. You will work closely with management personnel in Transmission Asset Management, Transmission Planning, Design, Land Planning, Construction and Test, Finance, Regulatory Relations, Legal, and Purchasing. Assigned projects are multi-disciplined, involve multiple external stakeholders, and are sensitive with elevated financial exposure, requiring direct communications with senior management.
You will represent Eversource as the expert witness for ISO-NE CSC and other regulatory evidentiary proceedings. As part of the management team, you are expected to utilize proven leadership skills to manage team members' performance and develop individuals through developmental behavior interaction techniques.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of projects, including coordination of regulatory approvals and interface with regulators, local elected officials, and town department managers.
- Manage the development and process for evaluation of bid documents for engineering, design, and construction, as well as for the procurement of material and support systems.
- Ensure all aspects of projects are documented and completed in accordance with company policies, regulations, and laws.
- Manage high-risk, large, complex projects such as major substation builds or expansions, intricate interconnection agreements, transmission line construction, or projects with high financial risk.
- Own the project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Provide written and oral presentations to senior management, local and state governmental agencies, and outside organizations.
- Prepare written responses for local, state, or federal regulatory proceedings.
- Lead representation of Eversource at municipal meetings, homeowner meetings, or other interested party meetings.
- Provide guidance and advice to less experienced personnel to develop a more productive workforce.
- Manage performance of team members by identifying expectations, performance standards, and providing timely feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent degree/experience.
- Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of Project Management or related experience.
- Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License is required.
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $122,700.00 - $136,330.00. This position is eligible for a potential incentive.
Schedule
Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. All employees must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (e.g., emergencies, training, or other business needs).
