Responsibilities
- Review and prepare budgets, estimates, and solicit/evaluate quotes from suppliers/subcontractors for construction projects.
- Upon award, be responsible for the procurement of all materials for the project.
- Manage multiple estimates and proposals concurrently.
- Perform accurate and thorough quantity take-offs.
- Properly evaluate drawings, specs, and other bid documents for all involved scope.
- Conduct site visits, pre-bid meetings, and perform detailed scope evaluations for all trade work.
- Use multiple software systems and web applications for estimating.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Submission of all required samples, product data, and shop drawings for approval by the architect.
- Review shop drawings and relay pertinent information to the field team.
- Procure all project required materials.
- Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
- Manage project costs, through ongoing evaluations of labor, material, and equipment.
- Interface with all company departments as necessary to resolve any issue.
- Ensure all safety measures, procedures, and requirements are met, followed, and practiced.
- Submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals & warranties to ensure a smooth and successful closeout.
Computer Equipment And Software Requirements
- Required: Bluebeam (or similar) PDF viewer/takeoff software, Microsoft Applications (Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- PREFERRED: Onscreen Takeoff.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Education: A.S. or B.S. in Construction or equivalent field experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 - 5 years general construction experience.

- Must be dependable, consistent, diligent, and thorough.
- Creative and resourceful in completing tasks accurately in a compressed timeframe.
