Project Manager/Estimator

About the role

This opportunity is for a Commercial Roofing Project Manager in the Chicago and Northwest Indiana area. The position involves managing projects from start to finish, including new construction, re-roofing, and service work.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and execution
• Build strong relationships with clients, general contractors, architects, and subcontractors
• Run project meetings and coordinate field operations
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
• Work closely with superintendents to ensure projects are on schedule, on budget, and meet quality standards
• Oversee multiple active projects simultaneously

Requirements

• Experience managing commercial roofing projects
• Sheet metal experience is highly desirable
• Comfortable working within a union environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with Procore, Dataforma, or similar project management software
• A collaborative Project Manager who takes ownership and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
