Project Manager/estimator
About the role
The Project Manager/Estimator oversees construction projects from the bidding and preconstruction phases through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The role manages all financial aspects of projects, including estimating, bidding, budgeting, invoicing, cost tracking, change orders, draws, and closeouts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects from start to finish, including bidding, preconstruction, and completion phases
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards
- Manage financial aspects such as estimating, bidding, budgeting, invoicing, cost tracking, change orders, draws, and closeouts
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management and estimating
- Strong knowledge of concrete and masonry construction projects in a commercial setting
- Experience as a Project Manager and Estimator, possibly from construction management, civil, or structural backgrounds
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in commercial restoration, including caulking and coating
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, and Sage
- Expertise in estimating, restoration, and masonry
Work Environment
This role requires daily presence in the office with some expectations of visiting sites for bid meetings. The company has around 100 employees, with a team of 5 Project Managers.
