Project Manager, Emerging Talent Intern (Spring)
About the role
Department: Paratransit. Location: 33-00 Northern Blvd. Position Title: Project Manager, Emerging Talent Intern.
Overview: The Project Management Unit is responsible for handling Project Management for all Paratransit Intelligent Transportation Systems either operating or capital funded. The intern will assist and support project execution by assisting with scheduling, documentation, and progress tracking to ensure tasks stay aligned with project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Update and organize project documents.
- Track deadlines, milestones, and progress.
- Prepare meeting materials and capture notes.
- Gather updates from project teams.
- Maintain dashboards and tracking tools.
- Assist with basic data analysis.
- Document workflows and improvement ideas.
- Support scheduling and project communications.
- Work on projects such as Paratransit Technology Solutions, Automatic Vehicle Location & Monitoring (AVLM), and AI pilot.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
The candidate should possess organizational, analytical, and communication skills; be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively; have a keen eye for detail; and be able to work independently while being an active team player.
Education: Matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least a 2.8 GPA. Preferred major: Project Management or related field. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and must submit their transcript.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $21.00 (Graduate)
