About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects in Reno and Las Vegas. This role oversees project execution from preconstruction through completion, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance targets are met. Ideal for a seasoned electrical construction professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience managing complex commercial or mission-critical projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, and subcontractors
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and cost control
- Oversee contract management, time management, planning, and team leadership
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple project stakeholders
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
