About the role
A 12-month renewable contract position for a Project Manager, Clinical Partner Management (CPM) to drive functional service provider (FSP) governance, cross-functional integration, and operational excellence initiatives. Fully remote role based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workstreams across SP&O, Procurement, Finance, Operations, DD&T, and Functional Leads to ensure seamless execution.
- Support the implementation of provider governance frameworks, KPI/KQI scorecards, and standardized business review processes.
- Develop robust project plans, manage critical path timelines, document key decisions, and prepare executive-level leadership updates.
- Optimize operational processes including FSP intake, contracting, PO management, workflow standardization, and SharePoint management tools.
- Drive financial tracking, savings reporting, and operational metric development in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external FSP partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-3 years of Project Management experience.
- Excellent communication skills, able to persuasively convey both ideas and data, verbally and in writing.
- Proven skills as an effective collaborator who can engender credibility and confidence within and outside the company.
- Ability to distill complex issues and ideas down to simple comprehensible terms.
- Embraces and demonstrates an empathetic, team-oriented, and inclusive mindset and models these behaviors for the organization.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Direct experience with or exposure to Functional Service Provider (FSP) models, vendor management, or provider governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with establishing or tracking KPI/KQI scorecards, operational metrics, and vendor business review processes.
- Practical exposure to financial tracking, PO/contract management support, and savings reporting within a corporate or R&D setting.
- Proficiency using SharePoint and workflow tools, with experience coordinating across Procurement, Finance, and Business Operations.
