Project Manager / Business Analyst- Consultant
About the role
This role is not eligible for 100% remote work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Detroit metropolitan area and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom Detroit office up to 5 days a week.

What You’ll Do
- Help clients shape and deliver outcomes by leading business and technology initiatives across industries, ensuring alignment with Slalom’s delivery standards.
- Define project scope, timelines, requirements, and success metrics in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Manage project execution, including resource coordination, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery models depending on client context and project needs.
- Leverage AI tools and techniques (e.g., generative AI for documentation, predictive analytics for risk and timeline forecasting, automation for reporting) to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
- Support business development efforts through scoping, estimation, and proposal contributions.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability development.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in project management, business analysis, and process optimization, with a background in delivering projects in consulting or enterprise environments. (consulting experience strongly preferred).
- Comfort operating through ambiguity - able to structure problems, assess options, and drive decisions forward.
- A curious, accountable, learning-oriented mindset with a strong bias to action.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of delivery methodologies and project governance.
- Experience applying AI-enabled tools to streamline delivery workflows and enhance team productivity.

- Experience in Life Sciences, Financial Services, or Health Care is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Agile/Scrum, etc.) are a plus.

- Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
- Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range for Consultant is $90,000 - $112,000. The targeted base salary range for Senior Consultant is $115,000-$142,000.
- In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
