Project Management - Project Coordinator III
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support a Research and Development team. This role involves managing inventory and procurement activities. The ideal candidate is independent, driven, and eager to learn, with a motivation to work with AI to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory and distribution for hardware prototypes and commercial devices.
- Work with the Logistics team to coordinate device transfers.
- Facilitate the procurement of additional commercial devices based on inventory levels.
- Conduct and maintain periodic inventories of all prototypes and commercial devices.
- Perform firmware updates across hardware prototypes.
- Cook up procurement activities, including completing purchase requests and monitoring their progress.
- Escalate cases with cross-functional partners as needed.
- Work with external vendors to resolve procurement, logistics, and invoicing issues.
- Identify and document recurring issues to find areas for improvement.
- Keep project documents and templates up-to-date and present reports to the management team.
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar coordinating role.
Technical Skills
- Experience using communication tools such as Gmail, Calendar, and G Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A customer service mindset to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities.
- Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with a broad range of technical staff.
- Familiarity leveraging AI-powered tools to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Experience in maintaining a hardware inventory tracking program.
- Experience using project management tools.
