Project Management Associate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Affiliate with project managers in the creation of project plans and schedules.
• Track project progress and update timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
• Organize and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, reports, and task lists.
• Cook up meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.
• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely updates.
• Maintain vigilance over project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
• Utilize project management tools (Microsoft Project, Sharepoint) to manage tasks and timelines.

Critical Success Factors

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other PPM applications (Microsoft Project, Planview or equivalent) required for effective project management.
• Experience in multiple steps of the full life cycle of project management, including planning, budgeting, estimating, vendor management, and internal negotiations.
• Pristine problem-solving skills.
• Highly competent communicator with active listening skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to be flexible as the role is very fluid.
• Highly collaborative team player.
• Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative support role.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
