About the role

Epitec is seeking an HR Investigator to support workplace investigations and employee relations activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead sensitive investigations, partner with leadership, and help foster a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Schedule

Primarily Day Shift with flexibility for evenings, weekends, split shifts, and occasional night shifts as needed.

Pay

$38 - $41/hr (W2 contract)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace investigations involving employee relations concerns, including harassment, retaliation, and violations of company policy
  • Interview employees, gather statements, review evidence, and determine appropriate case disposition
  • Prepare, track, and maintain confidential investigation records and documentation
  • Draft clear, concise, and professional investigation reports
  • Manage sensitive employee information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Partner with HR, Labor Relations, leadership, and other stakeholders throughout the investigation process
  • Support both salaried and union-represented employees
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture while balancing employee advocacy and company objectives
  • Support employee health and safety initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience conducting workplace investigations, including interviewing, case management, and case resolution
  • Strong Employee Relations experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee matters
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent typing skills with the ability to accurately document employee statements in real time
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Schedule flexibility is required, as investigations may involve employees working evening, weekend, or overnight shifts

  • Experience in Labor Relations
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
