About the role
Epitec is seeking an HR Investigator to support workplace investigations and employee relations activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead sensitive investigations, partner with leadership, and help foster a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Schedule
Primarily Day Shift with flexibility for evenings, weekends, split shifts, and occasional night shifts as needed.
Pay
$38 - $41/hr (W2 contract)
Responsibilities
- Conduct workplace investigations involving employee relations concerns, including harassment, retaliation, and violations of company policy
- Interview employees, gather statements, review evidence, and determine appropriate case disposition
- Prepare, track, and maintain confidential investigation records and documentation
- Draft clear, concise, and professional investigation reports
- Manage sensitive employee information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Partner with HR, Labor Relations, leadership, and other stakeholders throughout the investigation process
- Support both salaried and union-represented employees
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture while balancing employee advocacy and company objectives
- Support employee health and safety initiatives as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5+ years of experience conducting workplace investigations, including interviewing, case management, and case resolution
- Strong Employee Relations experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Minimum 2+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee matters
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent typing skills with the ability to accurately document employee statements in real time
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Schedule flexibility is required, as investigations may involve employees working evening, weekend, or overnight shifts

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
