Responsibilities
- Support project managers and superintendents in planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects
- Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, drawings, and specifications
- Assist with procurement processes, including vendor and subcontractor coordination and material tracking
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls to ensure successful project delivery
- Participate in change management processes, including reviewing proposals and preparing change orders
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and trade partners to ensure alignment across all project phases
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–4+ years of experience in commercial construction (internship experience considered)
- Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project workflows
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
- Experience supporting projects in education, healthcare, or public-sector construction
- Familiarity with project controls, scheduling, and cost tracking tools
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with project teams and clients
