Project Engineer Job

Primary location: Millwood, West Virginia. Relocation offered. Full-time position with no travel required.

This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements in safety, efficiency, reliability, and manufacturing performance while building cross-functional leadership skills and gaining hands-on engineering experience in capital projects, Lean Manufacturing, equipment reliability, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide project support for the safe and successful implementation of the plant capital project plan.
• Analyze and implement initiatives to improve safety systems, manufacturing processes, maintenance services, and physical facilities.
• Support plant, divisional, and corporate proposed efforts, and drive equipment reliability.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Provide direction and leadership to maintenance personnel and contractors for safe and successful project implementation.
• Develop scope and budget for small-scale capital projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Five or more years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial maintenance.
• Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and SAP.

Preferred Qualifications: Lean manufacturing experience.

The role requires the ability to:

Work Environment

• Primarily indoors in environmentally controlled conditions with standard office noise levels, including office equipment and conversations.
• May require working outdoors for projects related to outside plant equipment.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when entering manufacturing facility floors, based on location-specific requirements.

• Competitive remuneration package with an estimated base salary range of $77,000 to $90,000 per year (individual pay based on location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors).
