About the role

The Project Engineer is accountable for the effective planning, development, and execution of plant level capital & non-capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Providing project support for safe and successful implementation of plant capital project plan
• Analyzing and implementing initiatives to improve safety systems, manufacturing processes, maintenance services and physical facilities
• Supporting Plant, Divisional, and corporate proposed efforts, and driving equipment reliability
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using Lean Manufacturing tools
• Responsible for providing direction and leadership to maintenance personnel and contractors for safe and successful project implementation
• Responsible for developing scope and budget for small scale capital projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline; 5+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial maintenance
• Ability to understand and use various computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, SAP

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this role is $77,000 to $90,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.
