Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch IT field technicians across multiple client sites based on technician skillsets, geographic location, and project priority.
- Maintain real-time adjustments to schedules in response to escalations, cancellations, or emergencies.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines using project management tools.
- Ensure technicians have the necessary tools and materials for on-site dispatch.
- Liaise with subcontractors and third-party service providers to support field service activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during active field service events.
- Facilitate post-project debriefs through the ServiceNow platform.
- Escalate technical issues and client concerns to the appropriate Project Manager and Account Manager.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, dispatch, or coordination roles.
- Demonstrated experience working with or supporting technical field teams (IT, telecom, AV, or similar).
- Proficiency with project management or scheduling tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Smartsheets or case management software).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
Work Environment
This is primarily an office-based role with occasional visits to client sites as needed. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to after-hours escalations on a rotating on-call basis. Some travel may be required.
