Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities for IT projects including scheduling meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining project plans.
- Aid project managers with project execution, timelines, resource coordination, and status reporting.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, risks, issues, and change requests.
- Monitor project progress and escalate risks, roadblocks, and dependencies as needed.
- Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Track budgets, project expenditures, and resource utilization where applicable.
- Create and distribute project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
- Cook up testing activities, deployment schedules, training, and go-live support.
- Ensure project governance standards and PMO processes are followed.
- Manage project artifacts using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint.
- Aid in portfolio reporting and project prioritization efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience supporting IT projects in a Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience coordinating technology projects involving infrastructure, software development, cloud, ERP, cybersecurity, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Monday.com.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include experience working within a PMO environment, knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, CAPM, CSM, PMP, or other project management certifications, experience with project financial tracking and reporting, and familiarity with ITIL practices and IT service management processes.
