What You Will Do
- Affords assistance in creating schedules for O&M, Capital and Compliance-based work.
- Utilizes procedures to support business and system integrity for scheduling routine construction, maintenance, and inspection work coordination and activities within a specific functional and/or geographic boundary within a specified timeframe.
- Maintains monitoring of resource availability and work assignments within the scheduling tool for the appropriate window of time.
- Reviews job priorities in response to changing conditions to make recommendations for crewing specific jobs based on unplanned absences and material and equipment allocations within set timeframes.
- Maintains oversight of work volumes surrounding maintenance and repair functions.
- Confirms readiness of specific jobs by ensuring all prerequisites are met and approves crews for assignment.
- Provides job status updates and information on subsequent jobs in the event of unexpected delays.
- Maintains assets and locations based on maintenance work.
- Maintains monitoring of resource availability to the work schedule to ensure balance is maintained.
- Supports pre-requisite management to ensure project pre-requisites are coordinated within a specified timeframe. Pre-requisites may include but are not limited to:
- Pre-site inspections
- Order flaggers
- Order line locates
- ROW and material requisition permits
- Collaborates with site pre-inspections to ensure work readiness, as applicable.
What You Will Need
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and relevant job experience.
- Knowledge of scheduling principles and practices.
- Knowledge of daily construction, maintenance, appurtenances, and operation of pipeline systems related to natural gas distribution systems, preferred.
- Knowledge of resource skillsets, operator qualifications, equipment, and materials.
- Knowledge to coordinate work projects for the most effective use of personnel and equipment.
- Knowledge to communicate and/or exchange information or instructions and conduct oral presentations.
- Knowledge of various work types and specific task-level dependencies required to execute the work.
- Knowledge to assess the impact of changes in the business environment or business operating conditions.
- Experience in using and functioning of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
- Experience with systems and applications including but not limited to Maximo/PCAD, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Banner, Perceptive, and GIS.
- Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
- Minimum applicable driver's license.
- Ability to communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.
- Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.
