Key responsibilities
- Cook up logistics for IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) projects by booking equipment pickups, deliveries, and transportation for customers and field representatives.
- Support the ARS Sales team by arranging transportation and logistics for customer projects.
- Create and keep project records within EPC’s project management software.
- Cook up with third-party vendors, carriers, and contractors to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and expenses, passing on updates and solving issues as necessary.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and kept throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate with internal departments, customers, and vendors to facilitate successful project completion.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and/or Education Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Previous experience coordinating schedules, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining effective customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time while performing tasks at a desk or workstation with regular use of a computer, including typing and mouse usage required.
- One to two years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, project coordination, or a related field.
- Experience working with shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight providers.
- Experience coordinating third-party vendors or contractors.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to analyze information, resolve issues, and follow projects through to completion.
- Professional communication skills with customers, vendors, and internal department.
Experience and/or Education Preferred
- One to two years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, project coordination, or a related field.
